Sacramento mayoral candidate Leonard Padilla is in the middle of a messy and very public divorce. But well-known bounty hunter is very open to talking about the claims of violence being made by his wife.
The 73-year old Leonard Padilla says he married his 30-year old wife, Vanessa Navarro Padilla, in 2010. She filed for divorce in April and applied for a restraining order recently claiming verbal abuse. Her lawyer also trying to convince a judge in the restraining order hearing that Padilla threatened his client with a gun. Padilla admits to calling his wife a "slut, whore and a b*tch." But he denies his wife's claim that he pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her.
Padilla insisting his wife, who is a native of Mexico, is simply trying to obtain legal citizenship in the U-S via the divorce and restraining order.
